The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) and the Fatima Jinnah Women University jointly organized a Photo exhibition on UN peacekeeping operations in connection with the UN Peacekeeping Day 2010 at FJWU on 26 th of May 2010. The exhibition was held at the University Auditorium with the participation of VC, Faculty and students of Fatima Jinnah Women University.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by VC Fatimah Jinnah Women University Ms Prof. Dr. Saeeda Asadullah , along with Ms Ishrat Rizvi National Information Officer UNIC Islamabad. After the inauguration and visit to the exhibition, Ms Ishrit Rizvi gave a detailed presentation on United Nations peacekeeping operations all over the globe. She highlighted Pakistan's prominent contribution towards UNPKO as top ranking contributor of Military personnel for UNPKO. She also elaborated contribution of women in peacekeeping and presented the figures of female members of UNPKO which also include women from Pakistan.

Students and the faculty took keen interest in the exhibition and lauded the services rendered by Pakistani peacekeepers in UNPKO across the world.
