Radio Pakistan – World Environment Day

Today at Radio Pakistan we talked about the urgent need of protecting the environment, including the oceans. We shared information on how the UN is working with its member states and many other counterparts in the run up to COP 21. We highlighted the role Pakistani people can play with the support of their government in reducing air pollution, waste of precious natural resources and deforestation. And we stressed how crucial is the contribution from the youth in the whole process.

Thanks a lot to Olivier Huynh Van, Development Attaché, French Embassy, to Prof Dr Khalid Riaz, Climate Centre for Research and Development, COMSATS, to Malik Muhammad Uzair Khan, Member of National Assembly for participating in the conversation. And thanks to our hosts, Mr. Javed and Ms. Anjum.
