AIM

"Under take various projects to work for the welfare and benefits of the poor people living in the far-flung areas of Balochistan and specially the poor people of Kuchlak with a view to improve their living conditions and quality of life by providing good educational environment and bringing about a change in their thinking and attitude".

OBJECTIVES

Major activities of the Kuchlak Welfare Society are:

" High quality educational facilities at the grass root level in Balochistan
" Institutional capacity building development in communities
" Social development for women of Balochistan
" Poverty reduction in rural areas
" Economic Development with the help of community
" Development of professional and occupation through formal and non-formal techniques

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. The Society has successfully established an elementary English medium school for girls and boys in Kuchlak on 19 February 2002
2. The Society has established a franchised post office in Kuchlak.
3. The Society has approved a Family Health Clinic in Kuchlak.
4. Kuchlak Welfare Society organized seminars and arranged walks for creating awareness in the people about the perils of narcotic drugs.
5. Organized workshop on HIV/AIDS on 30-31 May 2004; and support to AIDS Centre.
